The Challenge

CVS Health was in the middle of a major rebrand — rethinking not just how the company looked, but how millions of people interacted with their pharmacy every day. My team focused on the mobile consumer app, the most direct touchpoint between CVS and its customers for everything from prescriptions to everyday purchases.

The challenge was weaving a completely new brand identity into a fluid experience across mobile and desktop — while meeting rigorous accessibility standards. This wasn't a reskin; it was a rethinking of how the digital experience should work for a healthcare company that serves such a broad and diverse audience.

The Approach

I led a team focused on refining and polishing approved designs into a production-ready experience. Every decision had to balance brand consistency, accessibility, and the functional complexity of integrating healthcare data, warehouse systems, and logistics APIs — all while keeping the experience intuitive for everyday users.

The result was a mobile app that seamlessly merged the consumer retail experience with essential pharmacy services. By embedding wellness as a core brand attribute, we created something that resonated with consumers and key stakeholders alike — hospitals, insurers, and physicians who are all part of the evolving pharmacy landscape. It set a new standard for what holistic health management could feel like in your pocket.
